Hazel is six days old today. She's such a sweet baby. She sleeps a LOT and only wakes up to eat then falls right back to sleep. So, this is how we see her most of the day. She had one rough night where she didn't want to sleep and seemed to be endlessly hungry. We're looking forward to the time when we are on a more regular schedule. :) But, until then, we are exhausted but happy. I so appreciate Jarom. He has been Mr. Mom while he gets to be home with us. He does dishes, cooks, cleans and entertains Cannon so I can recoup and take care of Hazel. He is the best! I'm feeling pretty good and have more energy each day. It's nice to sleep on my belly again. I forgot how nice that feels!

Awww, Ash - she's so lovely! There is nothing on earth that compares to those first few weeks in your new baby's life. Drink it all in!! What a doll Cannon is with her. I can't wait to see more pics. Congratulations.

Super cute, and yes I agree there is nothing like the fresh baby smell! Glad you are feeling good, those sleepless nights kill ya, but thankfully there is always tomorrow!
