Baby Things
I bought this chandelier from IKEA for baby girl's room (that's what we call her, isn't it clever?). I love it. I decided a long time ago that if I ever have a girl, she'll have a chandelier. I always wanted one when I was little, so of course she will too. Now I have to clear out the office and get started on many projects for her room. This was my splurge. The rest I'm either making or trying to find a really good deal on. I have a lot of sewing to do in the next few months. I made an amazing rainbow windsock in 7th grade, so I figure it can't be that hard. Yeah right. My mom has already volunteered to help. a lot.

Cute! I've always wanted a chandelier growing up, too. Maybe one of these days...
I wish we lived closer by. I've been dying to make some baby girl stuff. I'm tired of blues and cars and dinosaurs.
I want to put one in Sophie's room too. I have these visions of finding some fantastic vintage one at the DI for 15 bucks. So far, no such luck.
What a lucky little girl! I'm not as nice as you or else Ryann would have a pony by now. (That's what I always wanted as a kid). I'm glad that you wanted something a little more practical like a chandelier.
I'd offer to help on the sewing, but I'll save you the trouble of having to think of a polite way to turn me down. After all, we were in sewing class together so you know how the projects I've touched have turned out. Good luck though! I'm sure baby girl will have the cutest room ever!
