Jarom is such a sweet daddy. While I was pregnant, I often wondered how he would be as a dad. I never questioned his desire to be a father. He has always loved entertaining kids. When we taught sunbeams together, he was usually the one that I had to give "the look" to get him to be quiet. I always knew he'd be good. At the same time, it is definitely different when it's your own child.
Anyway.... Jarom is such a great dad! I can't explain in words, but here are a few examples...
He is currently teaching and going to night classes. It breaks his heart when he gets home late and his baby boy is already asleep for the night. Jarom always asks if he can wake him up to play. He walks quietly into the nursery, rests his head on the railing of the crib and just watches him sleep. It's the sweetest thing I've ever seen.
In the rare instance that Cannon is not asleep when Jarom gets home, he has this little song he made up that he sings. He calls him "monk-a-loo" and sings and plays with him to no end.
He buys Cannon toys and can't wait for the day when they can play together. I'm not talking stuffed animals. So far Cannon has a full size football, a dart gun, snowboard and his own set of yard work tools.

Hi, I grew up with Jarom. He and my brother were good friends. I came across your blog and I was wondering if you minded if I added you to my links. Tell Jarom I said Hi. Let me know thanks.

That's totally fine! I'll tell him you say hi. :) He'll be so excited.
Shelly (I'm guessing Shelly Brown),
Hi! I LOVE your blog! I've become a recent blog-addict... haha! It's too fun to read about other people and "catch up" with them!
