Hazel Gayle Becar was born this morning at 11:20. She weighs 8 lbs. 2 oz. and she's 19 inches long. We are so in love with this beautiful baby.
Labor and delivery were ideal. It took 5 hours of contractions and one push and she was here! I feel great and Jarom is a proud papa. Thanks for all the love and support.
Once again, Jarom was the great photographer. He took these while they were washing her up in the nursery.

Wow, she's so beautiful! Scott keeps telling me how unfair it is that you get your baby now and we still have to wait. Looking at her, it does make me super anxious to have our little girl! Glad you and baby Hazel are doing well!

She really is gorgeous. And sometimes they aren't, so you should be doubly proud.
Would you consider it a nice homage to sweet Hazel if we stole her name and used it on our little girl? Or would that be TOTALLY OFFENSIVE? We're probably naming her Violet anyway, but I just love the name Hazel...
